Teresa died on April 12, 1920, day of her birth to heaven (dies natalis). Normally her feast should be celebrated of April 12 (as it is indicated in the Martyrologium Romanum of 2001). However, the Church of Chile and the Order of Carmel celebrate her feast on July 13 (her birthday on earth), since April 12 almost ever falls within either Holy week or Easter week during which it is impossible to celebrate the memorial of a saint.
