 The
Teresa de Los Andes Shrine in Auco
(Chile)
This
shrine was built about six miles from
Los Andes to receive the tomb of St. Teresa of
the Andes. More than one million people come there
each year to pray Teresa and ask for her intercession.
The new Carmelite monastery of Los Andes was built
above the shrine. There is also a retreat center
closeby.
